I remember Auntie Joyce as always cheerful (to me anyway) and I always enjoyed visiting and staying at Cosinook. As a child I thought it was so cool to be staying next to a castle! I loved her accent. One of the stories of her childhood she told me was when Gladys and Geoffrey, her siblings, used to catch her in the wet washing on the line and soak her 'real proper'. Sounded like this was a regular game!
